1. Why do you think Aunt Jennifer’s hands are ‘fluttering through her wool’ in the second stanza ? Why is she finding the needle so hard to pull ?
आपको क्या लगता है कि दूसरे श्लोक में आंटी जेनिफर के हाथ ‘उसके ऊन से फड़फड़ा रहे हैं’ क्यों? उसे सुई को खींचना इतना कठिन क्यों लग रहा है ?
Ans. Aunt Jennifer’s hands are fluttering through her wool because she seems very old and weak. She is finding it hard to pull because her weak hand are trembling.
आंटी जेनिफर के हाथ उनकी ऊन से फड़फड़ा रहे हैं क्योंकि वह बहुत बूढ़ी और कमजोर लगती हैं। उसे खींचने में मुश्किल हो रही है क्योंकि उसका कमजोर हाथ कांप रहा है।
2. Why do you think Aunt Jennifer created animals that are so different from her own character ? What might the poet be suggesting, through this difference ?

Ans. Aunt Jennifer created through the tiger, a picture of her husband. There is also a suggestion that women create men, but those man dominate over women when they grow up.
आंटी जेनिफर ने टाइगर के जरिए अपने पति की तस्वीर बनाई । एक सुझाव यह भी है कि महिलाएं पुरुषों को पैदा करती हैं, लेकिन वे पुरुष बड़े होने पर महिलाओं पर हावी हो जाते हैं।
3. Do you sympathise with Aunt Jennifer ? What is the attitude of the speaker towards Aunt Jennifer ?

Ans. Yes, Aunt Jennifer wins our sympathy. She work tirelessly to create her tiger. The tiger seems fearlessly. The speaker feels great sympathy for Aunt Jennifer. She says that while Aunt Jennifer will be lying dead in her grave, her tigers will still go on prancing proud and unafraid.
