Key Points to keep in mind while writing Notice-

  • Notice must be written inside a Box.
  • Title and Heading of Notice must in upper case format.
  • Date should be kept in left side of Notice.
  • Name, Position, address must given in left side of Notice.

Marking scheme of Notice

Most of Boards in india have a english exam in which notice writing is a questions. so mostly boards follows same marking scheme as described below.

  • Heading, Box, Date, Name, Position of character are written properly then 1 Marks is given. 1/2 mark is reduced if 2 mistakes are found in such portion.
  • Body content of Notice contains 3 marks in exam.
  • 1 Mark is given for Accuracy of Notice Writing. here 1/2 mark is cut is 2 mistakes are found in a notice. Teachers consider grammar error and spelling mistakes for Accuracy of student.
