This story revolves around Patrick, a school child, who hated homework. One day he saw a cat playing with a little doll. but it wasn’t a doll but a elf ( tiniest man ). He saved him and in return elf granted him a wish. Patrick wished that elf had to do his home work till the end of semester (35 days). Elf started home work but he didn’t know what to do. In every work he needs help like not know meaning of words, mathematical calculations. At the end Patrick got A grade and elf had done his duty and slipped out. Teachers and Patrick’s parents all were happy from Patrick’s performance. From this story we can conclude that it was Patrick who done his homework not elf. It was just the Patrick’s imagination.

यह कहानी एक स्कूली बच्चे पैट्रिक के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है, जिसे होमवर्क से नफरत थी। एक दिन उसने एक बिल्ली को छोटी सी गुड़िया के साथ खेलते देखा। लेकिन वह कोई गुड़िया नहीं बल्कि एक एल्फ (सबसे छोटा आदमी) थी। उसने उसे बचाया और बदले में एल्फ ने उसे एक इच्छा पूरी की। पैट्रिक की इच्छा थी कि एल्फ को सेमेस्टर के अंत (35 दिन) तक अपना गृह कार्य करना पड़े। एल्फ ने गृहकार्य शुरू किया लेकिन उसे नहीं पता था कि क्या करना है। हर काम में उसे शब्दों के अर्थ न जानने, गणितीय गणना जैसे मदद की जरूरत पड़ती है। अंत में पैट्रिक को ए ग्रेड मिला और एल्फ ने अपना कर्तव्य निभाया और बाहर निकल गया। पैट्रिक के प्रदर्शन से शिक्षक और पैट्रिक के माता-पिता सभी खुश थे। इस कहानी से हम यह निष्कर्ष निकाल सकते हैं कि यह पैट्रिक ही था जिसने अपना होमवर्क किया था, एल्फ ने नहीं। यह सिर्फ पैट्रिक की कल्पना थी।
