Solution:
x – 2 = 7
x = 7 + 2
x = 9
2. y +3 = 10
Solution:
y + 3 = 10
y = 10 – 3
y = 7
3. 6 = z + 2
Solution:
6 = z + 2
z + 2 = 6
z = 6 – 2
z = 4
4. 3/7 + x = 17/7
Solution:
3/7 + x = 17/7
x = 17/7 – 3/7
x = 14/7

5. 6x = 12
Solution:
