Q1. Read the following conversation and write a message :
Shaily : Hello, May I talk to Sonu ?
Pradeep : It is Sonu’s brother speaking. She is out to her teacher.
Shaily : O. K. will you give her a message ?
Pradeep : Yes why not ?
Shaily : Please convey her a message to reach in the college. The dance teacher will be available only between 12:00-2:00 p. m. I shall come to take her at 11:30 a.m. She must meet me at city station.
Pradeep : O. K. I shall surely convey the message.
Ans – Message for Sonu:
“Hey Sonu, it’s Shaily. Please be at the college between 12:00-2:00 p.m. The dance teacher will be there. I’ll pick you up at 11:30 a.m. at the city station. See you then!”
Q2. Read a telephonic conversation and write a message :
Punit : Hello, it is Rahul ?
Sumit : No, I am his brother Sumit.
Punit : Sumit I am his senior. Tell him that there will be a meeting tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. All the staff members will attend the meeting. The owner from Delhi is coming to inaugurate the new hall. He must also reach.
Sumit : O. K. I shall convey the message.
Ans – Message for Rahul:
“Hi Rahul, it’s Punit, your senior. There’s an important meeting tomorrow at 11:00 a.m., and all staff members are required to attend. The owner from Delhi will be there to inaugurate the new hall, so make sure you’re present as well. Thanks!”
Q3. Read the given telephone conversation between Nisha and Neetu. Neetu is about to leave home and will not be able to meet Vicky. She leaves a message for him. Write that message.
Nisha : Hello ! Is that Neetu ?
Neetu : Ya ! Speaking.
Nisha : It is Nisha here. You know, Neetu, that ‘Trade Fair’ is going on in Pragati Maidan. I am visiting it today. You should bring Vicky with you.
Neetu : But he is not at home. I am sure that he will be with us because he desired so earlier.
Nisha : Then it is done. Please wait for me at platform No. 1 on railway station Jaipur till 11:00 a.m. we shall leave together.
Neetu : Okay. It shall be all right. We shall reach in time.
Nisha : All right. Bye till then.
