Taro’s Reward Summary in English
This story revolves around Taro, a young woodcutter lived with his parents. He worked very hard to fulfill his parents basic needs. One evening, it was cold day, Taro’s father demanded for a cup of sake. This sake was very expensive. Next morning taro done more and more work for extra money. When he was cutting trees he heard a sound. When he followed it he reached a beautiful waterfall. He cupped a little water in her hands and put it to his lips and found that it was the delicious sake. Taro filled the pitcher and take it to home to his father. His father stopped shivering after one sip. That day a lady neighbour stop there and took the sake. She spread the story to whole village. Next day when Taro reached the waterfall, whole village was there and when they tasted it they found it normal water and they went from there. Taro came out and tasted it. It was same fine sake. To everyone else it was cold water but for thoughtful son, it was delicious sake. The emperor of Japan rewarded Taro with 20 pieces of gold for his kindness.

यह कहानी तारो के इर्द-गिर्द घूमती है, एक युवा लकड़हारा अपने माता-पिता के साथ रहता था। उन्होंने अपने माता-पिता की बुनियादी जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए बहुत मेहनत की। एक शाम, ठंड का दिन था, तारो के पिता ने एक कप शेक (एक लोकप्रिय जापानी पेय) की मांग की। ये खातिरदारी बहुत महंगी थी। अगली सुबह टैरो ने अतिरिक्त पैसे के लिए और अधिक काम किया। जब वह पेड़ काट रहा था तो उसे एक आवाज़ सुनाई दी। वह उसका पीछा करते हुए एक खूबसूरत झरने के पास पहुंचा। उसने उसके हाथों में थोड़ा सा पानी लिया और उसे अपने होठों से लगाया और पाया कि यह स्वादिष्ट शेक थी। तारो ने घड़ा भर दिया और अपने पिता के पास घर ले गया। एक घूंट के बाद उसके पिता का कांपना बंद हो गया। उस दिन एक महिला पड़ोसी वहां रुकी और शेक ले लिया। उसने यह बात पूरे गांव में फैला दी। अगले दिन जब तारो झरने पर पहुंचा तो पूरा गांव वहां मौजूद था और जब उन्होंने इसे चखा तो उन्हें यह सामान्य पानी लगा और वे वहां से चले गए। तारो ने बाहर आकर उसका स्वाद चखा। यह भी उतना ही अच्छा था। बाकी सभी के लिए यह ठंडा पानी था, लेकिन विचारशील बेटे के लिए, यह स्वादिष्ट शेक थी। जापान के सम्राट ने तारो को उसकी दयालुता के लिए सोने की 20 मोहरें इनाम में दीं।
