It had been kept hidden in the diwan house.

He killed many tigers one by one. After some time, all the the tigers were extinct from the kingdom. So king decide to marry a girl from royal family where he can hunt tigers. After some time, problem increases very much because there was no tiger left in nearby kingdoms and he killed 99 tigers and his vow was just pending from one tiger.

But when the king meet the chief astrologer, he said, “Your majesty may kill ninety-nine tigers in exactly the same manner, but you must be careful with the hundredth tiger. Now Maharaja took a vow to attend all the matters after killing hundred tigers. He started killing tiger one after other. Thus he came to be called the Tiger King.

Ans – The British officer wanted to hunt tigers in Pratibandapuram. He only wanted to be photographed, holding gun and standing on tiger’s body. The actual killing could be done by the Tiger king himself. But the Tiger king didn’t agree even to this. However, he didn’t want to annoy the British officer since then he stood in danger of losing his kingdom. For save the kingdom, Maharaja sent fifty expensive diamond rings to officer’s wife as a bribe. He hoped that she would choose one or two and sent the rest back. But she kept all of them. No doubt, it was an act of bribery. The Tiger king’s act of offering the bribe springs from his concern for his own life, but the officer’s wife act of accepting the bribe shows his greed.

Ans – On the occasion of third birthday of his son, the Tiger king decided to give a special gift to his son. He had given all time to hunting and had no time for his son. So he decided to give a special gift to his son. He found a wooden tiger in a toyshop and thought it was a perfect gift. That day, father and son kept playing with that wooden toy. It has been made by unskilled carpenter. It had tiny slivers all over the surface. One of these pierced the Maharaja’s right hand. He pulled it out but it causes infection in his hand and soon it spread all over arm. Three famous surgeons decided to operate. When they came out of the operating theatre, they announced, “The operation was successful. The Maharaja is dead.” Thus the hundredth tiger kill the tiger king.
